Today

I was doing the statement for my family fund this morning and happily printed 5 copies to only find that I left out my 2nd aunt's name. =P

The statement was done on 2 separate occasions and therefore I totally forgotten that I could not remember my aunt's name on the first time I did it.

Even better, my 2nd aunt came to my house yesterday and I had the chance to ask but I didn't. Lol.

Gave tuition to 3 students today and went to Bedok Interchange to buy Fried Kway Tiao (sudden cravings for it) then I headed off to the bus stop to get $2 worth of Emperor Mandarin Orange. While I was on the bus, I put the oranges on my lap and started reading the U-weekly.

After a few stops, I realized that something hit my feet. I look down to find 2 oranges on the floor and 1 rolling away. Haha. I picked up the 2 and watched the lonely one rolling towards the door and disappeared from my view. Wahaha. So comical but I did not went to pick it up. =P

Reached home and passed the oranges to my mum, asking her to wash them for me while I had my dinner.

Guess what?

My mum took out 4 oranges that are joined together and said that they are for the offerings on Thursday. Lol. There goes 5 of my oranges. =D

Baby photos

Decided to post some of my baby photos. I had a good time reviewing the old photos. =D Everyone said that I did not change at all since I was a baby. Guess there really isn't much changes except that I was very chubby then. =D

Random pictures

Photos too big to be uploaded thus this that I threw a few pictures together.

Bank reconciliation

I am doing that now. After leaving Tradewinds, I haven't done bank reconciliation. Now that I have to do it, I am so excited. =P

My mum has been keeping records for a few years and there are some small discrepancies in the actual amount available and the recorded amount.

My job is to go through the bank book and the records to spot the mistake and actual discrepancies as my mum don't record the interest. Had a hard time trying to figure out how did the discrepancy came about. Though the cash in and cash out is recorded very neatly in the book, but interest amount is not recorded and cash in hand is also not recorded down.

Spent a long time trying to find out when did the problem arouse but due to the lack of information, I can only find out the difference and inform my mum.

Next up is to prepare a simple statement for my family and my job is done. Hehe.

The secondary school days

The big family

CIP Project - BYOB Day (Bring Your Own Banana Day)

The school that is going to be demolished and rebuilt. The joy and sadness we experienced at the school, all is now the past.

Saw the photos and suddenly many memories came back to mind. The family tree of Shi Yun as Ah Ma, Jason as Lao Pa and me as the Nu Er. The constantly changing Lao Ma, the fun of jumping queue to get our favourite Yu Pian Mee Fen, staying back almost every single day for In-Focus, sitting in the same class, listening to the teachers, talking among ourselves, listening to the never ending speech by the Principal, Racial Harmony dress-up day, running around the school during P.E., skipping P.E., chatting in the toilet, walking from classes to classes and so many things.

When will we ever get back together to retrieve these forgetful memories?

38.4 degree celsius

The title reads my body temperature when I was at the clinic. No wonder I have been feeling very tired and mood-less today.

When I woke up this morning, my throat was hurting so much that I couldn't swallow. It still hurts now.

Went to my student's place to give tuition and then to Tampines interchange to deposit some cash. Who knows that the transaction was unsuccessful and my money was retained by the machine. Had to call DBS to get them to help me. -.- So unlucky.

Then I went to Music Junction to redeem 5566 latest album. Listened to it briefly. Not too bad. Very different from their previous albums which are all about 'love'. The type of music is also slightly different now. Overall, it is nice.

Need to go take a rest now. Bye.

Nothing to update

Got a call from Guiqi this morning with a piece of good news.

CONGRATULATIONS
on passing the driving test!!!

She kept asking why I didn't congratulate her. Erm... well. You woke me up when I was having a good dream. Wahaha. Just kidding. I wasn't even fully awake when you called. =P

***

I just finished watching 2 dramas.

First is Hello! God which I bought from Poh Kim at Downtown East during Celine's 21st party. Storyline is great but it is a very sad show. Sob. I practically cried every episode.

The drama is about a guy with IQ of 65 who led a carefree and blissful life throughout his 27 years of life. One day, he met a girl, a swindler, who claims that she was a relief teacher in the mentally disabled school which he was working in.

The girl resembles his mother who left him one day and never did return. He fell in love with her at first sight.

Making use of his affection for the girl, a doctor tricked him into a dangerous experimental surgery to improve his IQ.

The doctor believed that he is the guy's god who brought to him hope and fame. Little did he knows that, the guy was happier in the past when his world was simpler. Time passed as he gradually became a genius of above IQ 160 yet he was getting more unhappy.

He wanted to learn and to love but it only made his life more difficult. He was no longer the simple guy in the past but someone who spent too much time thinking about the sad memories.
When he thought all were getting better, he realized that he would die as the side effect of the surgery is finally appearing.

He refused to undergo another surgery which would bring him back to the IQ65 old self as he feared that he would forget that he once loved this girl.

It is a really sad show but I like it. ^^

Next is 18 vs 29. This is a really old show but it is good.

The drama is about this famous actor (Kang Bong Man/Kang Sang Young) whose wife (Yu Hye Chan) wanted to divorce him as his co-star (Shin Ji Young) told his wife that she loves her husband. On her (Hye Chan) way to the Seoul Family Court, she met with an accident and
reverts mentally to her 18 years old self.

All she could remember was she hated Bong Man and likes her schoolmate, Shi Woo. She could not remember how she fell in love with her husband and got married eventually. All she wanted to do was to run away from her husband.

It is really hilarious to watch how the couple slowly build up their relationship once again and learn to love once more. I simply love the part at the end of each episode which shows their courtship in the past. Really sweet. Haha.

Recommending this 2 dramas to you guys. To watch this 2 dramas, you can go to My Soju.

Details of the past few days

NO PICTURES!!!

Lol. I have been forgetting a lot of things lately. Forgotten my camera, my handphone and my mp3 player. I am wondering when I will forget myself. =P

29/12/2007 - Celine's 21st birthday party. The first among us to celebrate the joy of turning 21. Was there early and hoping to be of some help but ended up just talking and laughing among ourselves. Lol. Enjoyed the food and the special treatment from her family. Hehe. Kept giving us food. We had a table to ourselves and we were constantly served with food. =P

30/12/2007 - Family BBQ party at my uncle's condo. Organiser - ME!!! =P Was arranged at the very last minute to carry out our yearly x'mas exchange though it is over and my cousin's birthday which falls on the 1st January. Complimentary charcoal, fire starter and satay from Celine. Haha. We, cousins, were crowding around the BBQ pit to take turns to bbq the food. Was fun though we burnt a lot of food. =P

Finally it was the exchange. Got myself almond chocolate sticks from Korean. At the end of the mini exchange, we still had 2 lucky draw prizes, sponsored by my aunt.

I got it together with my cousin, Ying Ying. Hohoho. The 2 who planned and organised the exchange. So lucky. =P I got myself a Valentine lamp which I finally managed to set it up beside my bed. =D Ying Ying got the Coca Cola lamp. =)

After that I slacked till today when I finally am able to give Leanne the promised treat. The treat for giving me the camera. Hehe. Went to Ichiban Boshi and ordered quite a lot of food. Didn't manage to finish everything cos we were too full. Haha. The food is yummy. =)

Repainting in process

My house is undergoing repainting now. That's why I didn't update recently. We are still painting anyway. Hehe. Started on Christmas and dragged to now. Currently, we are painting the ceiling of my room. Hohoho.

My dad picked 'sky blue' for all the ceilings and I picked a dark shade of blue for the walls. Intending to paint 2 walls with white so that the room will not look so dark. =P

Don't ask me why it is not pink or purple. When you stay in the same room with your brothers, you must think for them. Lol. Besides, that room had been painted pink for many years already. I am not exactly a pink person so I don't mind other colours. =D

Had satisfied my craving for almond cream but am rather disappointed. Comparing with the Bugis almond cream, the one at Pinle is not even comparable. It is so diluted that I feel like I am having almond soup instead of almond cream. I still want to eat almond cream though. Haha. But from Bugis. =P

By the way, those who wanted to get 'Big Eyes Dolly Lenses', you can go to Peggy's blog.

Happy New Year

Happy 2008!!!
