Weak moonlight

I have a strong feeling that the moonlight is weak tonight. Lol. That is because I have been sneezing since 9am this morning. I bet I used at least a 100 pieces of tissue papers.

Changed my darlings' beddings today. They are so stinky yet adorable. =P I put Nesie into a temporary mobile cage, Mini and Taro into the running ball while I cleaned their cages. Mini managed to open the running ball. Her second escape this year.

However, she did not run away. Like Ham Ham (miss her) when she still had the chance to roam around the house, Mini stopped at the step towards the kitchen and started nibbling on something. Don't ask me what cause I have no idea. Haha.

Taro, on the other hand, kept disturbing the rest. Naughty and playful boy. =P Smack his butt. He is getting cuter each day and I am loving him to bits now just like how I love all my pets. =)

A student called me while I was resting today to ask me what is 'nominal account'. "Blank" was the only word to explain what happened when he asked. What is 'nominal account'? I can only remember that it is some temporary account. Did some research on the term and finally know what is that.

Nominal account: Temporary account which reports expenses, revenues and capital. In other words, it is the profit and loss account also known as the income and expenditure statement. As capital is affected mainly by the profit or loss made by the business during each accounting period, the nominal account is considered to report capital as well but not the Capital a/c.

Wonder where I saw this word the last time. *Thinking*

Dong Cheng Wei 東城衛

If you watch KO One, you will be familiar with 東城衛. That is it's first appearance on TV.
If you watch The X-Family, you will be even more familiar with this upcoming band.

So who are they? They are an upcoming band consisting of Jiro Wang from Fahrenheit, Xiu, Deng, Ming and Jie.

Why did I mention them here? Basically it is because I am attracted by a particular song that they were involved in.


This song is however, not sang by them. It is sang by Da Shu from Hana Kimi. Surprised? I am.



I really love this song. I think if A Chord aka Da Shu is going to cut an album, I will definitely buy and same goes for Dong Cheng Wei. =)

New header

Like the new header? =D

Decided to change my blog title slightly after looking at the moon last night. Hehe.

I always like the moon. It always looks so calming and pretty. =)

To match the new title, I change the header. Actually I find the old header very disturbing. Lol. It looks so complicating so I decided to change it. Haha.

Clucks & Quacks

I "clucks" and my mum "quacks", that's why we don't understand each other on the phone earlier today. Lol. My mum wanted me to buy durian and I thought she wanted me to buy durian ice-cream. So I happily bought the ice-cream back home. Haha.

Remember my shoulder? Well, there is a big blue-black on it now. -.- I am pasting all kinds of medicated plaster on it and praying for it to disappear or I will not be able to wear a lot of clothes. So I have been wearing the same few tops to cover the medicated plaster and the blue-black when I did not use the medicated plaster.

My mum gave up one of the magnetic treatment properties pillow pad which my bro bought for her to me for the time being. Lol. I am actually sleeping on a few hundred bucks pillow pad now. =P

I have been working very hard lately and something actually made me work even harder. Will update in my next post, something that gave me a shock when I see it.

Me = Old granny

I feel like an old granny now. Boo~

I can't really carry my laptop today, use the phone for too long and carry my bag on my shoulders. Sob. I sprained the muscles on my shoulders and it is still swollen.

I am really a problematic girl who suffers from all kinds of body aches or problems that an old granny should be suffering from. My mum is the one who said so. T.T

I went to the sinseh that I always go to. She said that the sprain is due to many reasons. One of which is it accumulates the strain on my shoulders for the past few years and only got worst recently. She wanted to perform acupuncture but I didn't dare to try as I am always afraid of needles.

Due to the fact that I did not go for acupuncture, the part whereby she treated is still extremely painful when I move my arm or touch it. Sob.

So conclusion is I am a young girl with a body of an old granny.

Hectic week

I am so dead this week.

Ever since Tuesday, my week had been really busy. I am drained from every single source of energy after my last tuition of the week. I am as good as a walking corpse.

The worst thing now is I have a project to be done before the 20th of this month and it is on CSS. How the hell do I know what is CSS? I still have no single idea of what is that.

I really have the urge to just ignore everything, lead my simple life and heck care whatever is happening. I really don't feel good about how things are going on recently.

Why can't certain people be more cooperative with me? I am tired. Even someone who met me for the first time knows that I must have been drained recently. So why can't people just give me their cooperation but continue to let me run after them for things to be done?

I am no wonder woman and I don't wish to be one.

I am tired and I just want to sleep. Give me peace.

Is Hell exothermic or endothermic?

The following is an actual question given on a McGill University chemistry mid-term Exam paper:

Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat)? Support your answer with a proof

Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyles Law (gas cools off when it expands and heats up when it is compressed) or some variant.

One student, however, wrote the following:

First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So, we need to know the rate that souls are moving into Hell and the rate they are leaving. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Some of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there are more than one of these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that most people and their souls go to Hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially.

Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyles Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand as souls are added.

This gives two possibilities.

1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter Hell, then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until all Hell breaks loose.
2. Of course, if Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over.
   
   

So which is it?

If we accept the postulate given to me by Ms. Celine LeBlanc during my Freshman year - that "it will be a cold night in Hell before I sleep with you" - and take into account the fact that I still have not succeeded in having sexual relations with her, then (2) cannot be true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic.

I never knew that things that happened in a second can be so beautiful and some so disgusting. Must watch.

Golden Apple Snail

Have you heard of this type of snails or saw one before?

I had nothing to do while waiting for my student to work out an accounting question and decided to 'admire' their very 'clean' aquarium. That is when I spotted those snails crawling everywhere in the aquarium.

I must say that it is so cool. I took a few pictures with my handphone but it is just not good enough for the job. However, I managed to find a picture of it.

Just a 2 hours session, I saw so many snails mating. Lol. You will know cause they will stick together for a very long time before they part. Little wonders about the population of the snails in the aquarium as compared to the fishes. =P

I am so interested in these snails now. Haha. Maybe I can add 2 to my very plain fish tank of 2 baby guppies. =D

I read up about them and realized that the Golden Apple Snail is a good tank 'cleaner', very docile and doesn't eat the plants in the tank. But, they can reproduce at an amazing rate and may become a burden to the filter as it populate.

Despite that, I am still wondering where to get them and how much they cost. If anyone knows, please let me know. =)

Vanessa Hudgens

Oh my god!

I did not know this a few hours ago. Vanessa Hudgens is currently facing a tough period of her life and possibly a termination in her contract with Disney.


REASON: Her personal nude photos, meant for Zac Efron (her boyfriend), were recently uploaded online by a third party.


I am still shocked over this piece of news. I just did a little search and found the censored photos and the full news report on this.

I am wondering how do her fans feel about this. Still supportive or ashamed of her actions?

My personal view is that she is not at fault. Afterall, it is not meant for public in the first place and she never would have thought that the photos will be circulating on the web.

But everyone has their own views on this. Just hope that they will not terminate her contract as I really think she looks compatible beside Zac Efron.

Backbone & nerve

I think most of you knew about my old injury or should I say problem with my backbone.

Just a quick summary of my backbone (for those who don't know):
I was diagnosed with a straight backbone a couple of years back after I left secondary school. The normal backbone should look like the picture on the left with slight curve at the top, middle and bottom but my backbone is totally straight without any bents or curves.

As a result, the little 'jaws' between the backbone closed on my nerves. It left me with an injured nerve and serve pain.

I underwent physiotherapy for a couple of months before I managed to lift the 'jaws' up and away from my nerve.





Basically, this is what happened to me a couple of years back. For the last few years, I did feel occasional pain but it always go away. Recently, I keep experiencing the pain that I used to experienced when I was diagnosed with the weird 'straightness' of my backbone.

The problem now is I cannot remember the exercises that my physiotherapist taught me that time. I am now relying on my vague memory of one of the exercise to try to ease the pain. Sad to say, it did not work. The pain is now moving from my left to the right.

Best of all, I don't have the time to go back for an x-ray and I have no idea where is my card for physiotherapy. I just hope that the pain will subside and things will get better with the exercise that I vaguely rememeber.

High School Musical 2

Damn! I MISSED IT!

I only remembered it when it was almost 9pm which meant that the show was ending. On top of it, I don't have cable TV at home so it is totally out of the question to switch channels just to watch the ending.

Hopefully there will be VCD coming out real soon. Just can't wait for it since I missed it.

I am also hoping to buy the OST (soundtrack) of both HSM 1 and 2, but somehow I am on budget so I can only wait. =( This is all due to the reason that I just bought Vanessa Hudgens' album. =P At least I managed to lay my hands on one album by someone from HSM cast.

Speaking of Vanessa Hudgens, I must really say that the temptation to get her album is mainly because of 'When There Were You & Me'. I just cannot get enough of it. Next on my list is either to get OST of HSM 1 or Ashley Tisdale's Headstrong. They are really good and I love musicals. =)

If only Zac Efron also decided to release an album.

Kaleidoscope

Welcome to my new blog!

Decided to change my blog host after some time as I am kind of sick of the limited templates that Wordpress provides. However, that does not means that Wordpress is not good. I am just too picky and ever changing, like a kaleidoscope, 万花筒! =P

There, I finally come to my point. I named my new blog 'Kaleidoscope' as I feel that I am a living example of a human-kaleidoscope. Lol. I am ever-changing and this does not only applies to my mood but everything about my life.

I never wanted to give up my blog url of 'iamstubborn' but I am forced to do so as someone is currently using that url. I am just 2 months late. -_- It doesn't matter now that I finally get the opportunity to change my url after using 'iamstubborn' for almost a decade. Okay, (-.-) it is never a decade but for almost 2 years. =D
