Nothing to update

Got a call from Guiqi this morning with a piece of good news.

CONGRATULATIONS
on passing the driving test!!!

She kept asking why I didn't congratulate her. Erm... well. You woke me up when I was having a good dream. Wahaha. Just kidding. I wasn't even fully awake when you called. =P

I just finished watching 2 dramas.

First is Hello! God which I bought from Poh Kim at Downtown East during Celine's 21st party. Storyline is great but it is a very sad show. Sob. I practically cried every episode.

The drama is about a guy with IQ of 65 who led a carefree and blissful life throughout his 27 years of life. One day, he met a girl, a swindler, who claims that she was a relief teacher in the mentally disabled school which he was working in.

The girl resembles his mother who left him one day and never did return. He fell in love with her at first sight.

Making use of his affection for the girl, a doctor tricked him into a dangerous experimental surgery to improve his IQ.

The doctor believed that he is the guy's god who brought to him hope and fame. Little did he knows that, the guy was happier in the past when his world was simpler. Time passed as he gradually became a genius of above IQ 160 yet he was getting more unhappy.

He wanted to learn and to love but it only made his life more difficult. He was no longer the simple guy in the past but someone who spent too much time thinking about the sad memories.
When he thought all were getting better, he realized that he would die as the side effect of the surgery is finally appearing.

He refused to undergo another surgery which would bring him back to the IQ65 old self as he feared that he would forget that he once loved this girl.

It is a really sad show but I like it. ^^

Next is 18 vs 29. This is a really old show but it is good.

The drama is about this famous actor (Kang Bong Man/Kang Sang Young) whose wife (Yu Hye Chan) wanted to divorce him as his co-star (Shin Ji Young) told his wife that she loves her husband. On her (Hye Chan) way to the Seoul Family Court, she met with an accident and
reverts mentally to her 18 years old self.

All she could remember was she hated Bong Man and likes her schoolmate, Shi Woo. She could not remember how she fell in love with her husband and got married eventually. All she wanted to do was to run away from her husband.

It is really hilarious to watch how the couple slowly build up their relationship once again and learn to love once more. I simply love the part at the end of each episode which shows their courtship in the past. Really sweet. Haha.

Recommending this 2 dramas to you guys. To watch this 2 dramas, you can go to My Soju.
