She is really adorable and is half a beat lagging. Only after the flash of my camera then she smile so happily. -.-'

The dinner is rather good. At least I managed to try almost everything except the last two dishes. Hehe.

First is appetizer which consists of jellyfish, baby octopus, spring roll prawn, cheese beancurd, spring chicken. I tried everything except the jellyfish. Spicy food just isn't my type. Hehe. But I love the baby octopus. It tastes fantastic. Hehe.

Next dish is shark fin with golden mushroom which I kept thinking that it is bean sprout. Lol. Pardon my bad taste buds. =P

Coming next is roasted duck with crispy skin. Yummy. I just love the crispy skin. Hehe. Then it is the steamed fish and I had a competition with Gabriel who encounter the most fish bones.
I WON! Lol. 4 versus 2.

We also had scallops with fake abalone, prawns with special wasabi mayo suace. After which the other 2 dishes are the ones that I avoid. Hehe. So I have no idea what are they called. Hehe.

That's about it. Off to bed. Tata.

Slacking

I have been slacking since most of my tuitions came to a stop. =P

I am getting more and more reluctant to get out of my house. Hehe. But I still want to go shopping. At least at TM since it is officially open after the recent renovations and extensions. It will be wonderful to head out somewhere near to do shopping. I always hate to go to Orchard but love Far East. Lol. Ironic isn't it?

I want to do shopping but everyone is busy. Even my mum is busy with all the little shopping and outings with her friends. When my mum is out, I have to be home. Haiz. Cos I need to keep a watch on my grandmother.

Since I am so bored lately, I have been watching animations on Crunchyroll. Hehe. I have conquered Bleach, Ichigo 100% (lame and stupid anime), Zombie Loan and starting to watch Ghost Hounds which is a new anime. Hehe. That is what happened with someone who has nothing better to do. =P

Bully or insensitive?!

Bully or insensitive?!

I believe that many of you already saw this video or read about it somewhere. Based on the video, what do you think it is? Bully or insensitive? Just a little background about this video.

This video is taken by three tourists about 3-4 months ago. It was recently uploaded by one of the tourists on Youtube, taken down and uploaded by a Singaporean. According to news report, the trio got on the elderly's trishaw and started mocking at the 'incredible slow speed' that the trishaw is travelling at. Unable to understand English very well, the elderly trishaw rider laughed with them thinking that they are just happy tourists having fun. Halfway through the ride, the trio decided to hop on a taxi instead. The video showed that they lied that they were robbed and refused to pay.

This, no doubt, bring about the title of 'bullies' to represent the trio. So what do you think? Is it just pure insensitiveness or bulling?

Drama recommendations

Queen of Dramas is back in operations. =P

It has been quite some time since I really spend time on dramas. The previous few are very recent productions such as Why Why Love, My Lucky Star, The X-Family and I Want to be a Hard Persimmon.

Just a quick review on each dramas.

Why Why Love aka 换换爱, starred by Mike He, KingOne and Rainie Yang. This show is basically surrounding two half-brothers whose mothers are of a different person. Mike as the legitimate son and KingOne as the illegitimate son. Mike's mum died of depression after having to acknowledge KingOne as her other son while KingOne's mum 'sold' him to the family.

These two brothers of total different personalities and loathed each other, ironically fell for the Rainie at separate occasions. Everything begins with a birthday wish and ends with a life-and-death bet.

My Lucky Star aka 放羊的星星, starred by Jimmy Lin, Yoo Ha Na, Hong Xiao Ling, Leon Jay Williams and Lee Wei. The story begins with Ha Na as a con artist running into the young master of the jewelry empire, Jimmy, and finally got caught. On the date of her release, coincidentally she ran into Jimmy again and this time mistaking Jimmy as a jewelry thief.

On the day of his brother's (Williams) and future sister-in-law cum ex-girlfriend's (Xiao Ling) wedding, Jimmy decided to take revenge on his ex-girlfriend for throwing their many years of relationship away in exchange for fame and wealth. He took away 'Queen Mary', the important gem that once belongs to Jimmy's mum, that will be sold on the wedding auctions to save their jewelry empire from the power-hungry directors.

Having lost all hopes in life, Jimmy decided to follow Ha Na to her hometown and a new chapter of his life begins. Later, it was found that Lee Wei is the illegitimate son of Jimmy's father.

The X-Family aka 终极一家, starred by Pauline Lam, Jiro Wang, Huang Xiao Rou, Danson Tang, Chen Bo Zheng, Na Wei Xun, Calvin Cheng, Cai Han Cen, Aaron Yan, Chen De Xiu and A Chord.

This is a 55 episodes long drama. The story is a continual from KO One aka 终极一班 but the need to watch KO One to understand this drama is unnecessary. It is about a family with supernatural powers in the steel dimension. Along the way they met comrades and friends. They sacrificed to save others and unknowingly have the responsibility to protect not only their dimension but also the other twelve dimensions.

This is a fantasy and comedy drama which is very light-hearted. =)

I want to be a Hard Persimmon aka 我要变成硬柿子 is starred by Yang Ming Wei, Wang Xin Ru, Chen De Lie, Chen Yi Han, Gao Yi Xiang and Lee Yi. Almost everyone in this show are new faces except for a one or two.

This story begins with a weakling who is prone to being bullied in school due to his weak personalities and rich family background. Before he entered his new summer class, he swore to become stronger and shed his pitiful past. But to his dismay, the moment he entered the class, he spotted four familiar faces whom he incidentally faced a couple of weeks ago. They are the gangster-alike group who bashed him up then.

Not long later, he met a girl whom he fell hopelessly in love with and he needs to be tougher in order to fight his rivals to win the beauty's heart.

NOW, I want to introduce another really great drama cum manga cum anime cum movie to you guys.

Tantei Gakuen Q aka Detective Academy Q

The story surrounds a group of highly talented students who earned their placement in Dan Detective School, the most highly respected detective school. They formed Class Q which literally means a 'Qualified' class. Unknown to the students was that they will be fighting among themselves to become the successor of Detective Dan, their principal.

Students of the class consists of Kyu, Ryu, Megu, Kazuma and Kinta.

Kyu is a bright and optimistic boy who is also a brillant detective. He is often considered the leader of the class and will always bring the class together to work on every case. He never knew who is his father till an occasion towards the end.

Ryu is very intelligent yet has a dark background of being the only grandson and successor of the leader of Pluto, the darkest criminal organisation. Even though he is very mysterious and cold towards others, he is friendly to students from Class Q and towards the end, you will realise that he shares a special link with Kyu.

Megu has a special talent of very strong short-term memory which is more commonly known as photographic memory which enables her to remember every detail of a scene. With her special ability, Class Q managed to solve many cases very quickly.

Kazuma is a rich and genius computer programmer. He is important in the class as he can easily crack codes left by the victims and is very informative. He believes that technology is more superior to brain cracking.

Kinta is perhaps the only one who should not be in Class Q without the various help from Megu and Kyu during the practical entrance test. However, he managed to prove himself by passing the written entrance test. He is the strongest member of the class and often acts as their protector. His role is especially important in times of violent criminals.

This is an especially great show in my point of view. Highly recommended.

Childhood memories

Was talking to my brothers on Wednesday about our childhood. It was then did I realized that I spent almost a year living in the shop house that my father and uncle owned together when I was about 2.

I remember staying at the shop house but only have very vague memories of it. I remember a scene of my father, brother and me slept in the living room of the shop house and lit a mosquito coil. I can remember the fan spinning away and the smell of the cardboard boxes around.

I really like the shop house though it is very small and dusty. I like it cause it is very peaceful.

Besides this, we also talk about the times when we made our mother angry. I will always hide in the toilet and wait for my mum to cool down before I will get out. My brother said that I actually locked him outside the toilet once and he was beaten when I was not. Lol. I really cannot remember. But I was laughing away when he mentioned it.

Childhood memories is still the best. =)

My mum was yelling just now for the dad to tell him that our poor sewage system is blocked again. Reason being my dad had accidentally flushed a bath towel through the sewage system yesterday. Not so bad as it took 1 day to take its effect.

What's worst is coming. Please prepare your bucket!

I was the last to use the toilet today and what I did is not 'small business' but 'BIG business'. It spells S-H-*-T!

My smartie dad decided to double confirmed that the sewage is really blocked by filling the bowl with water and after it was so full, he decided to pump the hole.

Guessed what happened?

I guess it is not too hard to guess. The water started to turn from milky to brown and finally to orange and during the process, I saw 'things' started to flow/float out of the hole. Oh my god. Now the sewage system is still blocked and the water is still not of my favourite colour and somehow it is because of my 'doings'.

Wonderful. If I spoilt your appetite, congratulations, you can go on diet. =D
